Self Care, Boundaries, & Avoidance

Updated: Jul 2, 2023

Do you remember what it was like when you felt “normal”?

When going out was fun instead of scary?

When talking to people didn’t make you question yourself?

A lot has changed in the past few years.

Whatever caused you to feel rotten,

from the pandemic to your personal life,

you created new habits to stay safe and comfortable.

You stayed home and watched the news to stay safe.

You scrolled social media for laughs and connection.

But now you feel disconnected, anxious, and unsure.

You created a “new normal” and it stinks.

It’s easy to create habits that feel helpful and necessary and call them self-care.

But, self care isn’t avoiding uncomfortable emotions, people or situations.

Self care is doing what is necessary to stay healthy and happy.

Coaching is self care.

Doing what makes you anxious is self care.

Naps, healthy food, movement, and laughing is self care.

Creating boundaries that give and protect your energy,

Saying no to the wrong people and activities...

and saying YES to the right opportunities, practices, and people, is self care.

I help women who are doing their best for everyone else, and

running themselves ragged feel less anxious and more confident.

When you learn to manage anxious feelings and thoughts,

when you choose to take care of yourself,

your relationships get stronger.

You communicate more clearly.

You say what you need, what you want, and what you know with confidence.

You know yourself and trust yourself more and do bigger, braver things!

It’s incredible!

Getting back to normal or creating a brand new normal is closer than you think.

My clients start to notice results within 3 weeks!

Are you ready?

Talk to you soon.
