I don’t know how we’re here already but we are in the final week of 2023.
As we say hello to a new year,
I want to invite you to take some time to look back over 2023.
Whether you had a year that knocked you off your feet
in the best, or
in the worst way,
It’s important to pause.
I didn’t always feel this way, so if you’re thinking,
NO WAY JOSE,
I get it.
Looking back will bring up emotions and that’s good.
You don’t want to drag the heavy stuff too far into the new year.
You also don’t want to
repeat the same habits,
have the same regrets,
make the same mistakes,
and repeat the same anxious patterns
that you had in 2023.
To help you get a good look at 2023
so you can make 2024 better,
to use journaling for success and reflection.
I kept it short and simple, but don’t think that means you can do it in a flash.
This is most helpful when you take your time.
Here’s how to do this assessment.
2. Find a place and time where you can relax.
3. Bring your calendar or your phone so you can look back at dates,
events and photos of your year.
4. Write without judging yourself or leaving anything out.
(This isn’t a personal critique or roast. Just be curious and open.)
5. Focus on your emotions instead of other people’s reactions or responses,
how you handled situations and not the situations themselves,
and what you learned, felt, or can take responsibility for.
CAUTION: Owning your own garbage is powerful!
When you take time to find what worked and went well,
and what didn’t work or what flopped.
To find things that made you feel good,
and things that made you feel bad.
When you can find gratitude,
even in the hard stuff,
You create a springboard for change.
You notice that there were things you did well and enjoyed and find more ways to fit those things into your life.
You notice what hurt, what didn’t work, and that you made it through.
And you start to see more clearly what you want
and come up with a plan on how to get there.
From less anxiety to more confidence,
to making your side hustle your only hustle,
you can do it and this assessment will help you get started.
For more support in finding the best first step that will help you,
reply to this email and lets find time to talk.
You can tell me all about what worked and didn’t work
and what you want to change on the call.
You’ll learn how to start thinking differently
so you can do different things and
HAVE AN INCREDIBLE 2024!

The question isn't, “Am I ready?” The question is, “Have I decided to be ready?” Ready is just one decision away. Talk to me about how I can help you make your decision a reality.
