Parent Support Sessions

Parenting a competitive athlete is its own kind of pressure.

How do you help your athlete with performance anxiety without adding to it?

What do you say after a tough loss, or when they choke right before a big meet?

How do you support young athletes mentally without becoming the problem?

I offer single-session coaching for parents who need real answers to these questions,

without committing to a full program.

Performance mindset coach, high school swim coach, and swim mom, Megan Devito

What we cover in a session:

✓  How to talk to your athlete before and after competition

✓  Managing your own nerves so they don't absorb your anxiety

✓  When to push vs. when to pull back

✓  Supporting their goals without adding pressure

✓  What to say — and not say — when your athlete chokes or has a tough competition

✓  Understanding youth athlete mental health and when to seek additional support

✓  Navigating tough coaching or team situations

How it works:

  • 60-minute session via phone or video (in-person if local).

  • One-time or occasional, book as needed, no package required.

  • $250 per session.

Who this is for:

Parents investing in their athlete's development who want to make sure their support is actually helping, not hurting. Whether your athlete swims, runs, plays team sports, or competes in any other sport, the mental game challenges are the same.

Ready to Support Your Athlete Better?

Pressure isn't the problem. An untrained mindset is, and that includes yours as a parent.
